Mark Lund and Fatien Macdonald attended the recent IMWA Congress in Xuzhou, China. Mark presented a talk entitled ‘Are we approaching pit lake closure from the wrong perspective?‘ co-written with Melanie Blanchette and Fatien the presented a talk ‘Regulation of artisanal small scale gold mining (ASGM) in Ghana and Indonesia as currently implemented fails to adequately protect aquatic ecosystems‘ with Mark, Melanie and Clint McCullough as co-authors.
